With a Heavy Heart...
Well, I had a fun run on the station, but it had to come to an end. I kept it going for just over 9 years. I have sent the request to Live365 in order to close the broadcast by October. This was not a decision I entered into lightly. Depening on the billing, it may still run until the end of next month. It came about because of several things.
Picking tracks was very time-consuming and I was feeling guilt, of all things, for not making regular updates. You shouldn't feel guilt for a hobby. I've been trying to remove some clutter from my life, and this frees things up a bit more in several ways.
This is not to say that the broadcast might not return, but I don't see that happening for at least 2 years. For that bit of pressure, it was a lot of fun knowing and hearing from others who enjoyed that same kinds of music. It was also neat to be able to hear my music selection at any computer with an internet connection.
So, I apologize if you were a regular listener and are reading this. I really do appreciate alll of you who wrote in over the years. I am sure you have or will find other stations to listen too. Take care and let the music carry you off to those places we may only see in our dreams...
Now I really have to figure out what to do with this site.
